2.0 making a contract with us

 

2.1 when you buy an artwork from us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order

 

2.2 we will advise you in the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or if we have made a pricing mistake. in that case you will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us

 

2.3 images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. your goods may vary slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the goods

 

2.4 we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. however, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods

 

2.5 whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith

 

2.6 this contract is covered in accordance with the law of england and wales

 

2.7 by placing an order with us, you agree to and accept our website terms

 

 

3.0 how to place an order

 

3.1 you can use our website to place your order by selecting the artwork you wish to buy and adding it to your cart. items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time

 

3.2 if purchasing a product, the buyer accepts full responsibility for checking the accuracy of that product

 

3.3 the buyer assumes responsibility for the goods being suitable for the purpose for which they are purchased

 

3.4 you will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering

 

3.5 we use secure payment facilities for online purchases. you can pay for your order by debit or credit card and paypal

 

3.6 discounts and sales apply during periods stated

 

3.7 all prices quoted on our website are in uk pounds and include value added tax at the current rate

 

3.8 once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays

 

3.9 once your order is complete we will notify you of the collection date

 

3.10  only voucher codes obtained from velorose will be honoured. any vouchers from this website that are past the expiry date will not be accepted

 

 

4.0 validity

 

4.1 by ordering an artwork you accept these terms and conditions. these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering your artwork in case there are any changes

 

 

5.0 warranties

 

5.1 you warrant that the information given on your order form is complete and accurate

 

 

6.0 data protection

 

6.1 velorose limited will never make your personal details available to other companies for marketing purposes. we will keep a record of your address details with the intention of fulfilling your order

 

6.2 information you enter into our registration forms may be collected and stored briefly by us so that we may contact you in relation to the nature of your attempted transaction, even if you do not confirm the transaction. this may be used to send operational emails to solve the issue of why the purchase could not be completed. we will not store your information for longer than necessary

 

 

7.0 payment

 

7.1 all credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card user. if the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, your order will not be accepted and velorose will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery

 

8.0 collection

8.1 you will receive notification by email that your artwork is ready for collection

8.2 your order will be ready from at least seven days from when you made your purchase, or after the end of an exhibition in which it is displayed, whichever is the later

8.3 you must notify us of your ability to collect your order

 

8.4 you must notify us if you are not able to collect your order

8.5 disposing of packing materials is your responsibility

8.6 please check the artwork upon receiving your package. any goods found to be damaged should be notified to velorose within two days of the collection of the artwork, with proof of damage

 

returns & refunds

 

9.0 returns and refunds

 

9.1 you can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. to do this, please email or write to us. we are unable to accept cancellations by phone

 

9.2 you do not have to give any reason for cancellation. however, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future

 

9.3 if you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us, at your own expense. you must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage

 

9.4 you may properly examine the goods for 14 days

 

9.5 if you fail to return the goods, we will collect them and will charge you the direct cost of collection. if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value

 

9.6 we will refund all monies paid to us by you within 14 days, less any costs due under this contract

 

9.7 we reserve the right to refuse replacements on any damaged items reported to us outside of two days. Please refer to point 8.6

 

 

10.0 faulty goods / guarantee

 

10.1 if there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. in addition, you must provide us with a digital image of the issue. please take a photograph as soon as you have noticed the problem upon inspection after opening the package. we will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights. please see points 8.6 and 9.7 for time restrictions

 

10.2 you must provide us with proof that you bought the artwork using a print of the invoice or a bank statement

 

10.3 if an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. replacement goods will not be dispatched until either an indicative digital image is supplied by the customer, or the original goods have been received by us and have been checked.

 

10.4 the cost of returning the goods to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty. if the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs

 

10.5 if an artwork is no longer available we will offer an alternative. in this instance, you will have the option of a refund on the artwork under the warranty claim
